This mixed development which accommodates soho live / work units together with grade level retail and F&B, was conceived as a low density flagship development in the established residential neighbourhood of Sri Damansara. It forms the first phase of a 48 acre master planning scheme which incorporates a 7 acre linear park at its core. The master plan incorporates a series of residential towers flanking the southern boundary whilst this commercial scheme presents a low rise development more respectful of the scale of the immediate residential neighbourhood.

The idea was to present a series of open air blocks sitting in a linear park. Office accommodation is arranged on five levels, the first floor of which is reached by escalators located between the blocks. Thereafter, circulation is via sheltered external walkways which overlook the park and have extensive views beyond, towards the city. The commercial office blocks sit high on columns, with the retail and F&B inserted beneath, and the park then being visible and accessible through the openings between the blocks, and through the numerous, double-fronted F&B outlets.

Vertical circulation is provided by lifts but the use of the day-lit open air staircase towers is encouraged by virtue of their location at the park side, with shade, breeze and views.

Large projecting roof planes and tensile structures between the blocks give the development its distinct character whilst providing all important rain and solar protection. The restrained use of iconic colour identifies individual blocks and is intended to enhance the neighbourhood-friendly nature of the project.
